i’m lucky enough to be have many people who love to watch my child and i realize i’ve gotten in routine to not take him to stores just because i know someone will watch him and it’s obviously easier for it to be just me. here lately though it’s made me feel like a bad mom :(. does anyone else do this or should i start taking him everywhere? he’s good in stores it’s just having to hurry before he gets hungry or something and it’s harder to carry everything and him.

You are definitely not a bad mom. I give anything for those 20 minute trips to Target by myself!! My daughter's usually with me 99.999% of the time. It definitely is a lot easier to go alone and I think it's good for you

It’s a lot easier to go alone, I generally go alone. If he never goes with you, I’d probably take him sometimes just to get him used to being out there!

he goes with me probably twice a month i don’t go to the store a lot but i still go without him more than i do with. i am with him all day everyday other than that though

Now that its winter i try to have someone watch my son while i run errands. But When its nice out i take him out because he gets tired of being home. Theres nothing wrong with that.
