At what age did your babies start talking? Not babbling but actual words with intent. I’m slightly concerned about my son
Mine started at 1 in a half she could say a few words like “hungry” “I want eat” the typical mommy dada and by 2 in a half she could talk a little better I think before she turned 3 this year she was able to say a lot more words and formulate sentences better.
Mine talks now like he knows what hes talking about BUT each kid is different and learns at their own pace. 2 is normal for saying words and putting together sentences.
12 months for my younger child. My first was speech delayed so he was later
My daughter was saying words here and there at 1.5 but it wasn't until age 2 that's she really took off. Now she's saying 2-3 word phrases. Like "follow me"
Her newest thing is putting her hands together and saying "please" and if I don't do what she asked she'll do it again and say "pretty pretty pretty please" 😂
That’s awesome! So cute! Haha my son says words like “dada” and “ball” when he’s happy and “mum/muma” when he’s upset lol but other than that he just babbles
@darlingdearlove
Yeah my daughter was really only saying. Momma , dada and Aubrey (sister) at age 2 then out of nowhere she started talking up a storm . I swear it was like overnight 😂
after 2 hes been stubborn at everything soo far
@kellyjc, yeah same with my doctor. I just have some nosy family who are “concerned” 🤦♀️ lol I’m pretty sure he’s fine
@darlingdearlove yea every child is soo different and girls seem to talk sooner then boys
ppl can be annoying for sure
@kellyjc, yeah I talked early so they’re expecting my son to do the same!!??! Like he’s a whole different person than me 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Mine is still babbling. But if you’re concerned, speak to his pedi
His doctor isn’t concerned, but some of my family is. I really shouldn’t listen to them 🤦♀️🤷♀️ lol
My daughter is 14months she says "all done" "oh wow" "ma" "dad" and "no" she's learning "eye" and can sign "more"
