Bloody show usually means labor is imminent. You can go into labor 24 hours or more after bloody show. Bloody show is different than your mucus plug as that can be shed in pieces or all at once weeks to days before labor and it can be different with no blood to very little blood in second or more pregnancies. I personally I had bloody show with my first baby in the early morning and went to the hospital dilated to a 1 1/2 and was told to walk around for a few hours. I walked the mall and contractions hit around 3 pm, regulated to 5 minutes, 30 seconds - 1 minute apart for 1 hour around 6 pm so I went back to the hospital and was at a 4 1/2. Was admitted and labored in the jacuzzi and was checked 45 min later and was a 5 😊

Having your bloody show isn’t reason enough to head in. I had mine 3 days before going into labor.

With my first my water broke at the same time I had my bloody show. With my second I had my bloody show on a Thursday and he wasn't born until Tuesday. They had to break my water at the hospital

I took a shower after my water broke with my older 2 I wasn’t having any contractions at the time.

I think as long as your water hasn't broken you can wait. They were even trying to send me home after I had my bloody show, because I wasn't dilated enough when I got there. But my baby was born 3 hours later lol

Having your bloody show doesn't mean you're in labor. After you have it, it can still be days to weeks before you go. Unless you mean if your water breaks?
