Any tips on helping a newborn poop? Shes getting close to 19 hours without a number 2 and when she reaches 24 I have to take her to get checked): she pooped so great the whole time at the hospital! And shes gassy just not going): not sure how to help her along I tried the "bicycle" leg movements): she seems like she has to but just a bunch of false alarm farts):

good! The number they gave me was closed so I worried and then at like midnight she just exploded! It was terrible lol but I was thrilled!! Thankfully has been going regularly since!

Oh good! My Dd2 had an anomaly to her rectum. The thought she needed surgery but it turned out after they put her under she just needed to grow and to have therapy for her bottom. She is perfect now and as she has gotten bigger the problem is fixing itself but it make it hard for her to go for awhile. Now she has blow outs and like you I get excited knowing she is ok!
