Any mommas have any experience with their little ones having bad gas? My princess is only 4 weeks old and she was a premie so the peds said its her digestive system trying to get caught up and used to the formula but i feel like i have tried everythinf to give her a little comfort and nothing seems to work. Her peds said to try probiotics so I was gunna try gettinf her that in the morning. Any mommas have any advice? On me helping her sleep, or using probiotics..or anything really? O feel so terrible that I cant get her comfortable !! Just enough for her to get A LIL sleep atleast !

Yes i hope so ! Her peds isnt concerned at all with the gas (bcuz she doesnt hear the crying or see how painful it can be probably lol) but just says all babies get it..ill keep trying the bicycles though; maybe she gets squirmy at first because its gas in the belly and it just makes her uncomfortable at first..i just get sad when she cries because i can tell its painful..its so crazy how to tell whats wrong with babies//newborns and im a ftm so im soooo lost trying to figure this all out! Lol its like a hit or miss, sometimes its bad and painful but then sometimes its just passing thru and i can feel it when i hold her but she doesnt seem to notice it. Its definately gotten much better though & shes getting nore relief then last wk thats for sure !! Im gunna try buying some probiotics in the morning and see if that helps her at all.

gripe water is a life saver! my little girl is exclusively breast fed and it's taken a huge diet change to not make her miserable. She struggled with gas so badly in the beginning and would cry all the time poor thing. 😔 I've had to modify my diet so much so I don't give her gas but it seems almost impossible so for the days she does have it I give her gripe water if it's really bad and do bicycles with her legs, also rotating them around in circles and gently pushing them across her tummy seems to work wonders to alleviate a lot of the gas. She always farts so much when I do it 😂 it's actually kind of relieving

Does she cry when u mess with her legs? Lol my LO seems so squirmy and annoyed when i try to do the bicycles so i did buy the gripe water and it seemed to work for like 4 days (it was a wonderful 4 days of us getting rested LOL) and then all of a sudden theyve came back again 😥 She IS formula fed though and it just makes me feel so terrible like i shouldve just sucked it up and kept trying to breast feed !

no she actually loves it! she giggles and gets all happy when I do it so it must feel good 😊 and don't beat yourself up as long as she is fed and getting the nutrients she needs that's all that matters hopefully it's just a phase and she can outgrow it!

I was thinking the same-- but her peds said to wait it out another week before changing it.😥 The hospital put her on neosure and i did hear its pretty rough on babies bellys; but her peds said shed be concerned if she was spitting it up but since she isn't to give it a few more days before she wants her to try a different one because my LO needs the iron and calories being shes a premie. So the only thing she suggested was to get her probiotics and to try some gas drops😭
