Can I ask how everyone got their babies walking? My son can do it while holding my hands, but is still very wobbly because he tries to walk on his tip toes with his knees bent. Lol, it’s kinda cute though. He’s a year and two days old.
My sons always used a walker, but personally, it seems to stump his progress. My son will not walk without holding my hand; its been like that for about two-three months. So, I tried the walking from one person to another in short distance, and it was a no go. Lol
@mikailahandbaby he'll get. He may surprise you one day and just start walking
Thank y’all for the advice and/or saying what worked for you! It gives me some sort of ideas
I would get a cookie or some type of food my daughter loves and make her try to walk to me to get it.
My son is going to be 14 months on the 17th. He just started to walk . First it was holding his hands. Then my ex and i would do it were one of us was holding him and the other would go a short distance in front of him. And encourage him to walk to us. At first he was extremely wobbly but he picked it up fast and learned to show off cause he will get praised for it haha
We used walkers with jj and he was walking unassisted by 9 months old. We would also let him walk alongside the couch .
My husband and I sat near each other and had Micah walk the short distance between us and fall into our arms. Then we would just gradually increase the distance. I also lrt him ride around in a baby walker all the time. I was told that I prevents them from truly learning but Micah was walking at 10 months so obviously it didn't hurt
