Any tips for baby eczema? Been to the doctors and got given diprobase cream which I've been using for about a month. Although there's no red rashes anymore, her skin is very dry and she still needs mitts on 24/7 from scratching herself. I've started using mosturisor alongside the cream for the dry skin but it looks to be drying it out more? Thought of taking her back to the doctors but might aswell ask on here for advice too x

I use Aveeno on Layla’s eczema and it clears it up xx

The body wash? I've got the body wash of Aveeno. Use it as a soap on her every bath time xx

no it’s a moisturiser there’s a few different ones xx

We use child's farm to moisturise and no soap in the bath (only when Theo's having a flare up).She may need steroid cream from the doctor though. Theo hasn't had a flare up or had to use steroid cream (apart from on his ears) for about 3 months now, ever since we stattedd using childs Farm. x

Always said she'd need a steroid cream. Had it myself as a child and nothing but steroid cream worked. I think I'll go back to the doctors and suggest it myself x

Are you using the diprobase a couple times a day, and after baths? Also no scented bath stuff, we use kids simple or kids sanex. We also use steroid cream for flare ups when it’s red and sore. My sons doesn’t really go away he always has the rough patches on his legs, I just keep moisturising to keep him from being irritated. If you go to the doctors ask for some double base to try xx

I was told to use it every nappy change and after baths. The nurse said I couldn't over cream it and told me to do it as often as possible. So I have been. Only bath product I'm using is Aveeno which was advised to me by a chemist for eczema. I might just go back and see what they say. The rashes are gone, it just seems like itchy flake skin now which doesn't seem to be budging x

I was given something from HV last week called hydromol. I applied it twice and the morning after it looked like the eczema bits and dry skin on her forehead and eyebrows were 3rd degree burns! She had a bad reaction to it. I ended up getting johnsons naturals moisturiser and it's cleared up straight away x

Coconut oil locks in moisture and natural so no harshness xx

Coconut oil is good. They also suggest oilatum. If it doesn't completely help theres loads of different ones you can try. Luke had 4 different ones before we got one which worked xx

Child’s farm cream!! 100% swear by this. It’s baby moisturiser (can also get body wash etc for the bath). My eczema flares up pretty bad and I’ve been using this and it’s amazing. I know a lot of people that have used this and found it clears it up. Adults and children xxx

Maybe try a different cream for a week see if it helps. I tried about 3 before I found one that worked. Aveeno for Morgan and Cetraben for Max.
