@mommy_domo : It depends on what you're apologizing for and what his tastes are. A gift card to Northern, Home Depot, or his favorite automotive store if he's a tool loving diy, handy man type. A new hat if he's into sports. And if he's simply into you buy some lingerie and a night and wrap it up with a "ticket book" he can cash in. Dang!!! Why did it take me answering you to think of all this stuff? I think I just gave myself some ideas, lol...
