Dr said I’m measuring at 27-28wks instead of 26.5wks. They scheduled me an appointment for 2wks from today. I know I’m not ready for 2wk appointments so I wonder if it’s related to measuring a bit ahead. 🤔 he said he isn’t concerned but that if i measured ahead at my next appointment he’d want a growth scan done to make sure everything was good.

I don’t usually listen when they give weight estimates for the baby either. I know they aren’t accurate. My daughter was 8lbs when she was born but I didn’t measure ahead with her. I expect this one will be round about the same weight as her sister.

I constantly measured a couple weeks ahead with my son but my babies were all on the larger side: over 8 lbs. Never had a growth scan.

@milnera2014, maybe I’m trippin then. Maybe 2wks is normal at this time then.

See and I thought by the way he was talking that it would be a normally timed appointment. But it’s earlier and he is having me see his nurse practitioner in the same place I’d been getting my ultrasounds. It’s totally weird and threw me off when the receptionist told me it was with the nurse practitioner and then when I realized it was 2wks away I was like 🤔🤯

I had one done because baby was measuring small. Then had appts every week 😑

@santistevanmommie I hope not. I was going to MFM at Toledo Hospital and they were looking at me like I did something wrong because Jazz was 3.5-4 weeks smaller. I would think being ahead wouldn't be as bad but I don't know. I am praying for you momma 🙏.

measuring ahead Anyone else measuring ahead?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Does measuring ahead mean im further along or baby is just big? Dr said I am measuring 2 weeks ahead..
Just had my midwife appointment, I'm measuring 4 wks ahead 😱😱😱.....booked in for a stretch and sweep on Friday.
Hey moms, I know I haven’t been on here in a while but I have a few questions that my OB didn’t answer when I went today. So I’m 36 weeks & 4 days pregnant and at the visit he said baby is measuring 40 weeks. Has this ever happened to anyone? Did you have your baby early? Also he said I’m strep b positive, what does that mean? Is my baby going to be okay? I appreciate all responses

Also weight is almost always different then they estimated.
