He has a disease that requires surgery no matter what. Basically we're waiting to see how he does with feeding before they decide their plan of action. If he starts eating better they will discharge him to get bigger and gain weight at home before surgery. If he continues to eat poorly they'll just do the surgery before discharge. Hopefully it clicks in the next couple days 🤷‍♀️ the thought of him having surgery when he's this tiny scares me. As of yesterday he was only 6lbs15oz at 10 days old. His birth weight was 7lbs8oz.
