Hi mommas, in the first month baby was born, did you breast feed baby DURING NIGHT or pump out milk and have somebody else syringe feed baby in order to get a good sleep at night? 😊😊

Having a baby doesn’t automatically mean you have to kiss sleep goodbye. Both of my kids sleep 7-10 hours straight at night. Your sanity matters too and it’s okay to ask for help. Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty for that or make you believe that you’re being selfish for choosing to do things the way you desire. If pumping works for you, then do that.

Breastfeed. If I reallyyyy need sleep I will get my husband to feed pumped milk, but not until later when my supply is more established.

I’m sorry but once baby is here you can kiss sleep good bye. Pumping is a bigger pain in the butt your better off feeding baby directly from the tap and going back to bed. That’s what I do. But sometimes my son fights his sleep and stays up until 4-5am, having a newborn is a different experience.

Even if you were to pump, you’d still be up every 2-3 hours to do so. Regulating your supply the first 6w is very important.

Pumping was always better for our family. I needed sleep and it allowed my husband to help when he was home. You’ll figure out what works best for your family.

Newborn and good nights sleep don’t go together in the same sentence.

Bf was easier for us. And if you want to bf successfully you may want to skip bottles until 2m. You can syringe feed until then.
