I need some ideas on obedience school. Hes doing good I just want him better lol like if I need help he will attack. He doesn't hes so sweet but I have my abuser coming out of prison and I need him to protect me not lick someone to death lol but I want him to stay nice like he is

I own a protection training company and you cannot just pick up and train any dog protection. It’s also quite a long and extensive program, 99% of dogs cannot be trained to protect as they need to be 100% sound stable and meant to work or it could end badly. Not to say your dog wouldn’t protect you in a given situation where you need protecting a lot of dogs are naturally protective.

YOU have a child who lives with you is #1 priority. I tell all my client's never leave a dog a lone with a child (all dog's can bite !.i have seen more aggressive Chihuahua s than a pit bull.obivously the bite is more severe in a strong breed dog.We have seen many dog trainers come in and explain to us in depth Train The dog and The owner even more ! Get a restraining order if your fearful of someone you knew coming out of prison.
@dpinkpixie10 if he spent time in Prison,.maybe he will not come out and risk his freedom again.so stay safe .
@sherrynygirl this is his 6th case for domestic. I doubt he learned anything. I had no idea until I got his court papers he was abusive like that. Hes also impersonated a officer sold stolen shit the list goes on

Honestly that’s a really dangerous game you’re trying to play. Pets shouldn’t be guard dogs. I had the sweetest cane corso on the planet and a Rottweiler before that. Both awesome, big, strong, loving dogs. But as soon as someone would come near me all hell would break loose. I couldn’t even hug or kiss anyone without her running in between us or growling/barking. Especially with my cane corso. That little bit of bad temperament grew into a huge problem. Anytime my 6 yo stepdaughter would come into the room, she would freak out and try to eat her. She saw her as a threat and you can’t have that issue with children around. I can’t help but blame myself for being thankful to her for being protective before. She thought she was just doing her job when in reality her job the whole time was simply to be loved and adored by me.. dogs are not protectors. They are a part of the family. If you need protection, have pepper spray ready (out of reach of children/pets), buy a gun, purchase a taser. There are several routes to go. But don’t train a dog to be violent ever. They don’t understand as you and I do. They can’t always tell when something is or is not a threat. Good luck :)

You can't have a dog for protection and have that same dog as a pet. Nor would I trust my life with any dog as much as I love mine. Learn some self defense and take some real safety measure please.
