Had my paraguard removed Wednesday. My first day of my last period was Nov. 17th. Have had unprotected three times since Wednesday. Hubby and I knew/know the risk since I can’t start BC until I start my next period. I’ve had signs of ovulation and I’m unsure how quickly I could get pregnant. Anyone have experience with it after having theirs taken out??

@faithhopelove, yeah I was happy with it. It worked for its purpose but I couldn’t handle the bad cramps and heavy bleeding. I’d be nervous about tying my tubes also. Hubs is supposed to get snipped when it’s time. I told him the only way I would get mine tied is if I had a c-section with our last baby.

It's unlikely you would get pregnant this soon. Birth control doesn't totally leave your system right away.
It was just the copper iud though. So no hormones in it.
@bhcsmomma2014 Thats true but they also make the uterus more hostile to sperm. Only way to know for sure is see if you get your period and take a test if you dont.
May I ask why you had it taken out? I am thinking about getting it after I have this baby
