I’m ready for this year to be over had my daughter 2 weeks ago her lungs weren’t fully developed because she was early she was supposed to come Dec7th but came Nov16th so she had to stay in the hospital for a week then the day before we got to bring our daughter home my 1yr old son got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes everything was just getting thrown in my face now I just got diagnosed with high blood pressure and my fiancé’s dad just passed away last night. I just need a everything to stop and get better I don’t know how much more I can handle 😢

@faithhopelove, thank you! His dad is a type 1 diabetic also but getting use to carb counting is hard. What are some good free kid snacks

I eat a lot of veggies (carrots with a small amount of pb is a favorite go to). Eggs too! Will they consider an insulin pump or is he too young?

Omg I'm so sorry. That sounds so overwhelming. If you have any questions or need someone to talk to I'm here! I've had type 1 diabetes since I was 3 so I'd say I'm pretty seasoned!

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through all of this. But always we remember. We are never given more than we can handle. You are strong. You can do it.
