My son is almost two and says da da, and hi whn he wants to only. The doc said she would like him to see a speech therapist. He understands well, just doesnt talk. We are a bit worried.
My daughter is almost two and says only “ball” “banana” consistently. We had her evaluated twice in which they said that she had great comprehension and she was just taking her time to talk. They told me that it’s not about how many words they say but how well they can communicate verbally or non verbally and comprehension. I will be getting her evaluated again after she hits 24 months.
My son will be 3 in February and just started talking well. I thought about early intervention but I also had Nurse Family Partnership come out (they help with first child up until they're 2) they would do evaluations and stuff and he always passed. They say every child will learn at their own pace.
