How did y’all find out #santa 🎅🏼 was not real?! 😭😭😭😭😭 & HOW OLD were you?!
My 10 year old still believes and I have no intentions of telling her.
Don't remember how old I was lol but I saw my grandmother wrapping gifts so I knew then that there is no Santa.
Didn’t read the whole thing ... but my older brothers were dicks and showed me where my mom hid all the presents lol
I was in 4th grade and I was out shopping at Tj Maxx with my aunt and she casually goes “you don’t still believe in Santa do you?” Lmao and I stopped in my tracks completely shook and was like “oh no of course not” 😳😪
I don’t remember how old I was, but I found the receipt of my easy bake, that “Santa” for for me, on the kitchen counter lol.
@superchilledmom, yeah right, I was doing the dishes and saw it, and my mom tried real hard to say that Santa didn’t have time to make it, so he gave my mom money to buy it. She could tell I wasn’t buying it, so she admitted. “ honey Santa isn’t real im sorry, but don’t tell your little brother.”
@mrscecco316, santa gave her the money lmfaaoooooo that’s hilarious😂😂😂😂
oh I loved the whole Santa thing❤ i was probably 8 when i started asking questions about him my gma didnt stop until i was 10 it was still lots of fun when i knew that were from my gma tho!😂
@superchilledmom, i took it pretty well! i still thought it was fun to play even after i knew for the other little kids and stuff! it didnt crush my soul or anything😂
@lovelymomma.000, lmao good!! 😂😂 my mom was the enemy for like two weeks 😂😂😂
I think I was like 9 and my cousin and I had gotten the same gift then later I heard my mom tell my aunt “great minds think alike” in reference to it even though that gift said it was from Santa.
I think I was about 7 or 8 when my dad told me he wasn't real
@ladyblauvelt, are you telling your kids about santa not being real? It’s hard because ugh it crushes their little soul sometimes... to believe in something then to be like “jk” lol that’s why a lot of ppl don’t like playing along with it
@superchilledmom I known it's hard when they find out but why keep them from enjoying the magic when they are little? I just never understood why people would. I also think it's easier when kids find out on their own rather than just telling them because then you can show sympathy and explain it all to them then. I'll let my kids believe as long as they want to... I won't tell them before they are 10 at least.
@ladyblauvelt, i agree with u. Some girl on another app wrote “my mom never lied to me” like okay calm down that’s a tad dramatic lmao
I was 6. I was snooping in my parents closet and saw the presents on the top shelf. When we opened gifts on Christmas I noticed they said from Santa but I knew I saw them in the closet way before Christmas.. so I told my sister and we kept it a secret from our Mom because it made her happy that we “still believed”😂
Aww that’s cute that y’all didn’t tell her! Lmao I caught my mom and she Said “santa is in the closet” 😭😭
@superchilledmom, we did years later. To this day all she will say about the subject is that “if you believe, he will come” 😂
We never grew up on Santa. We always knew he was just for fun.
