Went to hospital, after having pain and contractions all day, (waited until hubby got home.) My contractions are 9-11 minutes apart and I'm about 2cm dilated,... anything I can do to help dilate me?

Yeah my induction date is in 2 weeks, the doc says she is completely healthy. Just in case she was to come. I'm glad I made it this far my last baby was a 34 weeker.. I see my doc tomorrow.
I suggest water and rest. The last few weeks are crucial for their development.
Youre 36w. Keep the baby in there another 2 weeks not get it out.
My doctor said she's ready. Just waiting on my body..

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
Question.. is it possible for one to be in “active labor” but not be dilated AT ALL? The only thing she’s having is contractions, not regular, irregular pattern contractions. They come in groups she says.
Having contractions every 3-4 mins since 4:44 ima try to wait them out BC last time I was having contractions 3 mins apart I wasn't dilating any but I was a finger tip and at my last appointment I was a full centimeter dilated.

But she’s not ready if you aren’t in active labor. That indicates the baby being ready. I’d be nervous in your situation. That almost a month early. Which could be a nicu stay and that’s not easy. The last weeks are so crucial for development. I hope baby stays in a little longer.
