Is it normal for 3 year olds to constantly take apart their toys, break them, bash them and slam them together? Anyone go through this with a child? He destroys all his toys. We are afraid to get him anything for Christmas because he ruins everything. I'm worried. I throw out a hand full of toys every few days because they are destroyed. Our furniture is and market and dinged up. Basically anything that is wood is destroyed

If I see my boys being to rough or breaking a toy they lose them for awhile

I take them away. Other things too for misbehaving. Screen time, play dates, etc.

My son does the same and he has tons of toys that he barely even plays with. I'm about to just throw a bunch away and donate a lot. I told people not to get him a lot of toys this year and that he needs more clothes than anything. He'll still get some toys and things but hopefully nothing with too many pieces or cheap and easily breakable...
