Quick question, can a petitioners attorney get in trouble for being unreasonable and communicating rudely to the responders attorney?

They do have a code of ethics they have to follow. I think in most situations it’s up to the judge really. But honestly that’s just what attorneys tend to do.

Idk I just feel like my son's father's attorney was being incredibly rude all because she asked a simple question.

@jacksmommy17, I was a Legal Assistant for many years and worked with/dealt with a lot of really rude attorneys. I guess it’s just a normal experience for me. Definitely talk to your attorney if you’re concerned.

@aengs2 she told me not to worry too much. Shes had 20+ years and knows what she is doing compared to the petitioners attorney who was just sworn in this month (November)
