I went to my Wic appointment and they told me I should be giving my 4 month old water because she’s eating rice and oatmeal?? I’ve never heard of this

Yes, if she’s eating solids already you have to give her water

That is not true. She doesn't HAVE to have water. Breast milk or formulas have adequate water as well

Just a little bit it’s not like she will stop giving her child breast milk or formula.

If shes eating solids and still drinking breast milk. And is constipated or having a hard time pooping that's the only time I would give her sips of water. Because honestly. She still has a tiny stomach and if you give her too much water that it fills her belly she can get really sick.
