I didn't get a period for six months aftet I stopped taking it. And didn't get pregnant until almost a year later

@katelynr965, I’ve been off of it for months and got my first period two months ago and it was normal last month and I’m late about a week but I’ve taken a test and it’s negative

Okay so I was on it for a few months got off due to bone and body pain so I’ve been off of it for months now and have had my period. But I’m late on my period and have had sex a lot obviously no protection cause I’m dumb lol my question is did you have weird periods a all the time?

i did for the first few months after getting off the shot but then it straightened up

yes. It took almost a year to get my period at all then another entire year for it to regulate. I also experienced pregnancy like symptoms as they are also withdrawal symptoms.

I would test and if you don’t want to be pregnant- use protection because it will be hard to predict your cycle for some time.

It caused me to suffer from secondary infertility, but for some they have even gotten pregnant on the shot

I mean I do want to get pregnant we would prefer for it not to be right now but wouldn’t mind another baby lol
