I always see posts about how much it hurts when the nurses push on your belly after birth. Am I the only one that felt…

It really depends on how your afterbirth situation goes. Some need more assistance than others.

I just had discomfort

They legit like pushed their elbows into my stomach every single time with all their weight. Shit hurt.

It didnt bother me but I have wondered why its mentioned so often.

i thought i was the only one. I didnt mind them pushing on my stomach... the nurse told me sorry im gonna have to push your stomach, im like its okay i just gave birth thats nothing lol

Nurses never pushed on mine but maybe because I had a c section

As someone who had two c sections they have pushed on my belly and it hurt extremely bad 😩

With my daughter it hurt worse than labor. I didn't scream or anything when I had her but when they pushed on my stomach I screamed lol with my son it hurt but not like it did with my daughter.

I grabbed the nurses arm. But I had a c section... I apologized over and over again at the nurse I felt so bad. I grabbed it hard

From my vaginal birth experience, yes 😅😅 it was awful. I HATED it when they would come in to push on my stomach

Lol it was pretty mild for me, I wasn't really bothered by it honestly. By the third time they did it I barely felt any kind of pain. But then I was also up and walking an hour after I had my son. 🤷
