Is My Son Experiencing Early Erections?
My son has been getting... erections lately..... I thought I had until puberty before this kinda stuff happened. I was totally unprepared for seeing that!!!!! 😭😭😭😭 not my baby!! Lmao

My son got it when he was almost 2 months old. He had bronchiolitis on top of it. They couldn't medicate him or anything because he was so little. He was miserable for about a week. He slept in my arms everynight. It was awful but we got through it. We made sure we sucked his boogers and mucus out as much as possible used a humidifier at all times. No going outside and constantly washed hands and everything he touched.

what did you use to prop up when he slept? Did you just do that for naps or overnight? During the day I’ll usually just hold him upright while he naps but at night I lay him down

I put a small pillow under his mattress.

and I used it overnight if he would sleep in his bassinet. He hated that thing lol. I held him most of the time but if he did sleep in there it helped a lot.

Oh no it turned into pneumonia? 😭

When my now 10 year old son was 2 months old (had him at 32weeks) he got it and had to be on the hospital for 2 weeks.

Oh no:( I know it’s really bad if premature infants get RSV, was he ok?

once they got his oxygen levels going back up and the meds started to work he was.

Just last month. One night in hospital for observation, antibiotics for the ear infection she had on too of the RSV. And suctioning if her nasal passage and fluids. Nebulizer and inhaler treatments at home for two weeks and as needed going forward. Took awhile to get over it but prayers for your little nugget!!!

Humidifier and shower are great! You're doing all you can really. We we're on look out for pneumonia also. Thankfully it turn that way.

My LO has an ear infection too😭 my poor baby! I have a feeling I’m going to need to take him to the hospital tonight. He was so bad last night and my pediatrician said tonight will probably be worse. My bf is picking up his nebulizer right now so hopefully that helps him😭 how old was your LO when he got it?

@babybump21: She was 5 months. So just older than yours. Do be vigilant. Better to take him to the hospital 100 times out of precaution than the one time to think it's ok and be wrong. Prayers mama!
