You can tell them it gets you sick there are other options i did it with my last pregnancy .. It was half a bagel plain and 8 oz oj feom Duncan

What’s the point in refusing ? You’re drinking it to find out if you have GD or even undiagnosed T1D or T2D , any of which could have a detrimental effect on your unborn baby .

I would hate that personally 😂 but hate the drink too. I'd prolly just eat pancakes n call it a day

I would suggest that to your doctor. Some have used jelly beans and candy bars.
@kambam, I’m gonna refuse it as well everybody thinks it’s good for the baby because nobody actually reads the fine print or even does any research on it I didn’t do it with my other kids and I’m definitely not doing it this time around
You can do pancakes and oj, jelly beans, grape juice... i can get the list if you want. You can also get the a1c test instead or test yourself at home. Thats it for alternate options. I knew I wasnt prone to gd but with age and each pregnancy its important to keep checking. Def dont believe in the drink tho. It's just shitty sugar water with coloring
@kambam, the a1c test is for a different reason and timeframe completely .

I know you could do alternate things. I’ve heard of some women using candy instead of the drink.
Nope I sucked it up. I think it's better to know whether you have problems during your pregnancy. It's nasty but I did it.
You can, but I don’t know why you would. Plug your nose and drink that ish. It’s for your baby.
