Is it normal for toddlers to randomly hate their dad?? My son has a full blown meltdown if his dad even approaches him. Nothing bad has happened between them.

@kambam, I’m sorry, I know it’s so hard. Believe it or not it actually gets worse at age 3 😫😫😫 Just when you think there’s no way this can get any worse, it does 😳 I’ve had to get aggressive with my daughter just to get thru to her because she goes on a rampage and there’s no stopping her. She’s 4 now and everyone tells me that’s when it starts getting better so I’m crossing my fingers.

Sometimes my daughter would have meltdowns on me if I even looked like I was going to touch her or say anything. But now she's really attached 🤔

We try. We've definitely been doing better. My son is also just a complete asshole lately lol. More with me now than usual and now his dad.
Leave him alone with his dad for some time he'd no choice but to learn to get along with him lol

Yeah I mean theyre alone sometimes. I have a feeling its just when im around. I dunno but poor guy lol

If your child’s dad is tryna take you to court for joint custody will the judge approve that even if you can prove their doing marijuana on a regular basis & has guns?

Anything goes for toddlers 😩 They will go back and forth with which parent they prefer. My daughter almost always prefers me over Daddy and literally screams like she’s being tortured to death if he tries to do anything for her or with her. Even simple things like wiping her after potty, or picking out clothes, or getting her a water cup. She acts like she hates him but deep down she loves him so much and will randomly go up to him and want to snuggle and want nothing to do with me.
Toddlers also compete for their parents’ attention so they will act up and see which one is going to give in.
