Has anyone's ob ever given them gabapentin for sciatica?

I just googled it and alot of things said it wasn't safe this and that so I'm just paranoid lol. My ob isnt sure if it's going to even work but she wants me to try it

Did you have any questions about it or anything?

I talked to mine and the pharmacist about it since I’m on it and we are trying for another baby.
