So i think I lost my mucus plug and tomorrow im only 30 weeks. Ive been being watched for preterm labor for 2 weeks now. I have preterm labor contractions, my cervix was 2.1 2 weeks ago and she stays head down. I usually expel mucus but this time it was alot more than usual and it was like a glob. TMI i know! Sorry! But im worried.

Happened to me. I ended up being 2 centimeters and had to stay in the hospital to be monitored next thing I knew I was 33 weeks and I had to go into labor. They broke my water and everything. Mucus plug can grow back just at this point take it very easy and call the doctor and see what they recommend

Call your Dr. I wouldn't freak out though. You're not having other signs of active labor and mucous plugs regenerate.

Your mucus plug can regrow back. Just take an easy- and try not to be on your feet too much... Watch for fluids, colored discharge, blood etc... If you get any other symptoms contact the doctor- if for some reason you go into early labor, they can give you meds to stop the labor. Don't worry yourself too much hun

So they have a test that determines if you're likely to go into preterm labor or not... pretty cool! but I am not likely to go into labor the next 2 weeks..which is good
