So I didn’t know that castor oil could kill babies and this is why. There is no easily found article about babies dying. In other forums women have even said DOCTORS said it’s okay to try. A PHARMACIST showed my sister-in-law what’s good to take to induce labor. After she (thinking it was safe) took it I made a post asking for advise and got soooo much crap lol. We googled for a good 15 mins before she took it and found articles like these. Then after I made the post we googled for even longer about specific cases where babies can die from swallowing their poop. IT IS NOT SAFE. Choosing to creat life inside of your body is probably one of the most selfless things to do so don’t call her selfish. She asked who she thought was necessary to ask and researched what she thought she needed to so don’t call her careless. No she would not take something she knew could kill her child. No I would not tell someone to take something that could kill their child. She’s just anxious to meet her baby and stop feeling like crap all the time. Happy momma makes happy baby.

Yeah in the excitement we didn’t think an hour long search was necessary being as though we never heard of it killing babies. That’s all. It took a long time to find the articles and that was only after hearing for the very first time last night that it was not safe. Other than that how could we have know it wasn’t?
They dont die from swallowing their poop. Meconium can be sucked into their lungs and cause a potentially fatal infection.
As for the rest of this... People going to respond amd react to information. If the user doesnt want opinions, or comments, they shouldn't post it in a forum where people come to get comments and feedback.
I never said I didn’t want opinions and comments and feedback. I said the exact opposite actually. What I don’t want is judgmental women acting like people would do this knowing the risk. They should stop and think is all. I love learning and talking about topics everyone should be educated on.

My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

I actually looked it up a while back. If you keep searching there is alot of info about it being bad. Just got to look at the articles underneath. But even here it says it doesn't help induce labor. I even read they used as a drug for abortion in another country in early stages of pregnancy.
