With my son, I was dilated at 3cm for almost 3-4 weeks. Totally depends on when your baby and body is ready to come out

It doesn’t really mean much I been like you have since 33 weeks an I’m currently 39 weeks they will induced me tomorrow baby just comes when he is ready an when your body is too

When I was pregnant with my son and at 35weeks I was 3cm dilated and he was head down and I stay at 3cm dilated all the way up to 40weeks and 5days, and I had my son at 40weeks and 6days. It doesn’t actually mean you’re going into labor right away.

Being dilated doesn't mean a whole lot until you're in active labor. With my first baby I wasn't dilated at all but then went into labor that same night. Other people can be dilated for weeks and still end up needing to be induced.

Technically you can any day now but everyone is different with my second I was 4cm and 70 effaced at 36 weeks and had my son at 38 weeks so I was stuck at 4cm for 2 weeks it felt weird lol but I wasnt having painful or consistent contractions so they wouldn't admit me until I was 38 weeks and was having bad contractions I also had 2 membrane sweeps that morning at a dr appt so that was what probly put me into labor
