I’m on my parents Tricare Prime insurance. I want to wait to tell them, they’ll find out anyways when they get billed. How should I go about doing this?

I went through this 😂😬 lol its scary but itll be okay! Itll be over before you know it. Technically they dont get notified when they're billed/you could say it was for a routine check up if you're not 100% ready

That’s what I was trying to figure out. How the billing would work going to the obgyn. I figured she would know somethings up because it’s not my regular doctor 😂

I told my mom as soon as I found out with a test. Also i was freaking out 😅 your parents will want to know and be there with you along the journey, good or bad. Tell them asap!

They’re definitely going to be excited. I wanted to do a cute thing maybe for Christmas to tell them. But as soon as I go for a first appointment they’ll find out anyways. I didn’t want to tell them to early either. And get their hopes up

@caitlin.toal long as you tell them soon. Im sure they'll understand if you wanted to wait but still disappointed a little. If I had a pregnant daughter and she waited I would be soooo frustrated 😆

haha honestly me too, thanks 😂

I say tell them. You’re going to be a mom. Better to own the responsibility now!

I’m only 5 weeks now, do you think it’s too early to tell though?
Taylor··
I don’t think so. Whatever happens, you’ll want a support system around you. I told my family and friends at 6 weeks.
