Need tips for taking the dummy from Arlo without it resulting in severe chaos, casualties and war. Really don't want him relying on it any more for several reasons. Any advice welcome 🤷♀️

We just took it cold turkey at 18months. She took a while to settle for naps and bedtime without it for about a week and she basically never asked for it again. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be! Xx

When I was younger my mum cut the top off, showed me and told me the fairies did it so now it’s got to go in the bin and it seemed to work 🤷♀️

Cutting the teet off works. Then they think it is broken. Or there you could put them under the tree to give to Santa?

I trialed taking it away for day naps first. After a few goes just threw them away. They both had either a cuddly toy or muzzy they took to bed as well so they had something for comfort. There's no easy way really! Lol but after 1 or 2 rough nights both were fine. Good luck 😊👍

Kylans still got a dummy at the minute.
My plan is to get him to hang them on the tree so Santa can take them and leave presents. That way if he asks for it I can remind him that Santa took them
