Hi everyone! I have a question! My daughter and I are going to be visiting my family on Friday afternoon.. we will be on the train for about 4-6 hours... This will be my first time traveling that far with her (without her being in my belly lol) My boyfriend cannot go due to our car not being fixed so he is going to try to take some overtime while we are gone. I plan on us staying there for a week so everyone in my family can meet her. She is almost two months old. I'm not sure what to take or pack for her. I know diapers, wipes, and her formula (bottles too) but I don't know how many outfits I need and what else to bring but those things...

Small toys, diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, clothes, socks, mittens, bath time soaps, wash cloth, towel, medicine (if she takes any), etc.

I don't know how many wipes, diapers, clothes, mittens, socks etc to bring I know I have to bring them lol just don't know how many I will over pack if do it by myself 😂😂

Honestly, I’m an over-packer lol I like to be prepared and with babies I’ve learned you can never be too prepared. Luckily their clothes are small so they’re easy to pack, and you never know if they’re going to spit up on them or have a blowout so it’s always best to have more than you think you need just in case.

Per day: 8 diapers, two outfits, one burp rag, one bib, one pair pajamas.
Plus: some extra sleepers and bibs, one or two extra outfits, two pairs extra socks, a few pairs of mittens (3-6), and a handful of diapers.
Two towels, travel size bath soap, two wash cloths, travel size lotion and/or powder, one tube diaper ointment.
Favorite toys, any medicine, 5 bottles, two packs wipes

Oh my gosh kinda horrible..his two cousins (we don't know them that well but they are a married couple and like our parents age and have three boys and this is his dad's side, we decided not to go to his mom's side cuz they are the big drinkers and his grandpa wanted all of us to be together for Thanksgiving since we are always in our room sleeping and taking care of our daughter we live with his grandfather too) but anyways they took her to the back room without asking us or us knowing 😒 I told my boyfriend that I wanted her to be in my sights and I don't think he even knew they went back there with her either, they told us they went back there (when we founed out where she was) cuz it was more quiter and we we're trying to get her to stop crying so they actually got her to sleep but my boyfriend told his cousin (the mom) that I wanted to video chat my family since my mom was over at my grandma's and all of my family members are there and his cousin dead ass looked at him and said but she is asleep now and I was like wtf and he said I know but it's Thanksgiving and we kinda just stood there awkwardly waiting for her to hands us her and she finally did but kinda looked like she didn't wanna give her up...it was weird and made me a little uncomfortable

wow. I mean it’s nice that they wanted to help her sleep but not cool that they didn’t let anyone know ahead of time. I get the not wanting to give up a sleeping baby but they definitely needed permission first

I wasn't mad that they wanted to help and had gotten her to sleep..I was just mad they didn't tell us they went back there with her and didn't want to give her to us whenever I was video chatting my family. She didn't even wake up whenever I did video chat them cuz she is always around loud noises so she is a heavy sleeper.

Okay ladies, I packed 7 outfits total (with pants and socks so I can mix and match if needed), 3 footed sleepers, 3 tank top onesies so she can sleep in those just in case if it's too warm in the room, 3 extra socks, 5 pairs of extra mittens, 3 hats, 10 different bows 😂😂, a pack of 32 diapers (not counting the 3 diapers in her diaper bag, a pack of wipes, carseat of course, bringing her baby carrier (not bringing her stroller too much of a hassle), 3 blankets, 3 burping rags, 3 bibs, 3 bottles, 1 unopened can of formula, little bottle of lotion, a baby hairbrush, 3 pacifiers, her diaper rash cream, her little bear outfit/coat thing lol and my mom said she can buy extra diapers, wipes, formula water...she has baby shampoo and towels (cuz I have a nephew who's 2 over there so lol) our daughter isn't really interested in toys yet but i did pack a stuffy and she loves getting talked to lol
Should that be enough?

You will want a couple extra outfits in case of blowouts. And hand sanitizer
