What are your thoughts on sitting baby on Santa's lap for a picture? I know it can be a cute memory but my son has recently started crying when a stranger holds him and I don't want him to cry.
I do pictures with Santa. I don’t care if he’s crying.
If it's his dad or Grandpa dressing up as Santa I don't mind... I don't feel comfortable with a stranger though
When I was younger I was deathly afraid of Santa. This scared me until I was about 16/17 and I’m now 22 I’d say don’t push him to do anything that’ll scare him. I try really hard to not let my children become afraid of things only because I know how that feels .
Hold him and sit next to Santa but try to hold him in the middle
We had Santa pictures done today and my baby girl is 11 months and freaked the moment she sat down with him. Stranger danger. The good thing is we got a photo session so we got good ones with her by herself but the Santa one she is for sure not happy!
Unless my son asks me I don’t plan on making him do it. He’s not much of a people person. Lol
I don’t trust strangers holding my child never would
I guess I can hold him for the picture right next to him..? It hadn't occurred to me til now.
@argiemom29, yea that’s what I would do if you are dead set in wanting a pic with Santa . I’m prob just being paranoid but you don’t know what Santa is going to do god forbid drop him . I wouldn’t risk that at all . But like I said I tend to think of the extreme idk what my brain works like this but it does
what are you guys thoughts on letting your baby cry...my baby goes to sleep on me but once I put him down he crys and wakes up I don't like letting him cry like that so I pick him back up. he will be a month old in 2 days.
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?
i'm getting my baby circumcised tomorrow & it makes me so sad. i want to do it but i don't want to see him hurting :( makes me cry every time i think about it
I literally have to only give my dad and his gf enough for 1 bottle when I drop him off there every Tuesday because last week they were about to give him 6oz in an hour like are you crazy they said because he was crying, play with him give him attention and he won't cry pick him up and walk around with him. I told him he gets 3 oz at 7pm they ended up not giving him the 3 oz till 7:30 and we got there at 8:30 to pick him up and was feeding him again I lost my mind it pisses me off bc he has a...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
If you want the picture it's worth the tears as it's only a moment. I treasure the first pic of the "Easter Bunny" holding my oldest. She was screaming and the next year the same but now she is smiles in her pics and it's newt to see the growth and changes in her personality during those moments of memory making. We are getting those pics as a way of capturing the changes year to year and it's fun! Oh and we are always in the pic with her so it's literally just the second needed for the photo. Will be doing the same with our new baby. Of course if it's a blown out squirming, baby can get hurt situation, no. But I WILL get the family photo with them.
