I got this and use it when I’m feeding. It catches the milk that would drip out the other breast.
Do you have a lactation consultant that can help you figure out when it’s good for you to start pumping? For me it was recommended not to start until 6 weeks. So it was nice with the Haakaa I could save milk, and store it that way. I’m not sure how old your baby is, but until mine reached its birth weight I had to feed him every 2-3 hours. It took him 2 weeks.

They more you the pump the more you produce. If you're just pumping to feed from the bottle, then yes I would pump every 2-3 hours. If you are exclusively breast feeding, you dont want to start pumping right to regulate your supply.
