Natural birth moms ?? 👀👀. feedback!! Since this my first child , I want to TRY have a natural birth. Lol
I had epidurals with my first two. Then with this baby my labor went too fast and I couldn't get one. The one positive thing I can say is the recovery is so much easier this time!
I went natural with my 2nd... not one med...and at home ( by accident) I planned to go natural at the hospital lol. I had an epidural with my first. I would def recommend going natural in my experiences
Think imma go for it ! Is it a mind type of thing ?? Cause every time I tell someone I don’t want meds n stuff. They blow their breath lol 🙄
@shacandra.walton it is and a pain tolerance. They probably do that cause its your first lol. Since It was my 2nd I kinda knew what to expect but once the pain started it threw me for a loop still. All that breathing sitting etc techniques went out the window lol. I think cause my labor was so fast I survived lol. If I was to be in labor alllllll day natural I'm not sure I would've lasted honestly. So towards the end of your pregnancy prepare your body (I did yoga, walked up stairs and the last 2 1/2 weeks I took Primrose oil pills. DEF take those!!! They help soften your cervix and it helped me with a smooth birth, no tearing rips or burns. She slid right out in like 2 pushes LOL) sorry for the long ass post
@shacandra.walton oh and yes the recovery is sooo much easier and faster. I had her Friday at 5am got taken to the hospital and we was out Saturday at noon. Sunday I was up cooking and cleaning and ish lol
Try a birthing center! They will see you with or without a doctor. You can find a Certified Nurse Midwife who has worked in Labor and Delivery in hospitals and knows the backhand to both options. A water birth is the best option (given you have a low-risk pregnancy) to ensure a natural, drug-free birth. I have had both hospital and birthing center water birth. I am now about to do hospital again due to medical issues this time. I have researched a lot on what to do to not get the epidural with a scheduled induction. I know I will probably do other meds though. If you can avoid a hospital and really want to try a natural, drug-free birth look into the water birth option at a birthing center! This was my best birth I have had! The warm filtered and re-cycling water with herbs eased my contractions immediately. Water is amazing if it's possible for you! ❤
Just do it 😏 fr tho, just put it into your mind that you will do it. Make a birth plan for natural birth (theres ideas online) and get your partner on board so they can support you through the birthing and know what YOU want. Lastly you'll have to make sure your doc is on board, if not you'll need one whos comfortable with all your choices. Preferably before 20w
Who plans on going a natural birth??
How many plan to have a natural birth?? If you've experienced natural and or meds how was your experience? Which was better??
Any moms to be being doing natural birth or water birth?
Natural birth? stories/suggestions to get theu it. I'm going to have a natural birth this time around but I am a bit scared of the pain. I put no epidural on my birth plan and trying hard not to edit it LOL
Natural Birth / Water Birth / Epidural?
Like @doubleksmommy I had my son natural by accident in the car. I planned an epidural like my first 2 kids but ended up waiting too long. Walking helps a LOT and makes it go faster. I was in labor less than an hour and I was walking trying to get everyone ready and out of the house. Walking made mine super fast.
