Need some opinions. I’m looking into buying a WiFi camera system as a baby monitor that you can use…

I had the ibaby!!!! The app has to at least be running in the background. You can rotate the camera from your phone, take pics, zoom in and out. Used for a year and a half and camera quality was still amazing.

Prior to I baby I tried a Motorola brand.... app constantly crashed, camera quality went to crap after 3 weeks, and the camera would randomly shut down.

I have a WiFi camera in our living rooms, the app does have to be open for you to hear what going on in the room. However, my app send me notifications if their is movement in the areas!

My hubby just put in an 8 camera system in all over the outside of the house and one inside my sons room. There doesn’t seem to be microphones but I’ll ask. we can see everything on both the TV via HDMI input and our phones. The bonus is we can set off lights and alarm noises from our phones if we aren’t home and notice someone trying to snoop or steal an amazon package. We can even read license plates with our system so it’s really super clear in my sons room even on night vision. Other than the microphone I’m now wondering about, it’s really nice to have.

We use the nest cam as a baby monitor and have for almost three years now. We can see live in the app. When the app is not open, I get noise and motion notifications on my phone.
