Question. I made 9 an hour at my old job. I did my renewal for foodstamps. They cut my foodstamps from 353 to 147. Is that even possible? She told me its for me and my daughter. And she asked me did i pay any bills where i was staying i told her thats all she asked me. She didnt ask me if i had any other bills. I just think 147 is crazy.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

I had some woman on here follow me then asked if we could talk. asked how far along I was, I told her then asked what kind of phone I had I told her asked why then she asked for my number.... I told her as nicely as I could that "I don't know you, so no" it was weird and creepy! I don't mind talking to people on here but just to be so forward like that has me suspicious of her intentions. Am I being to paranoid or would you do the same?! lol...
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.

You could also apply for Wic they help out a lot with groceries that are healthy for both you and your daughter. They’ll even help with formula if that’s what she drinks

I have to go in Monday and tell them my husband not working anymore so I can get my cash assistance back or if I have to I will re apply for food stamps and cash assistance

Anytime I’ve dealt with state assistance they’ve always taken every single bill I had into consideration. My rent, phone bill, insurance, everything. They’ll also take into consideration the dads income unless he’s not on your daughters birth certificate. Are you still working at the place with 9 an hour? If so you should get more than $147 a month if that’s less than your states minimum wage.

They only count like rent & utilities as actual bills so depending on your check amount plus what you have to take out for just rent & utilities that’s what they concluded you have left over each month to spend they take 30% of that and give it to you in food stamps. So even if you have like a car note/insurance/cable/ cellphone they don’t care about that because they claim it isn’t a necessity. Which it’s kinda shit so I feel ya.

It goes by your yearly income. So it looks like if it is just you and your child then they are basing it off of that and current earnings🤷🏻♀️
You can ask for income/household size chart. I am sure they can provide you with that info. It is to help and not cover the entire. Also, other utilities fall under luxury depending what they are.
