✨Where do you live? And did you have a form of Mac-N-Cheese at Thanksgiving dinner growing up?? ✨
Being from the Midwest and now having family through California and Oregon, we all got into a debate, and I’m wondering your side!!
In Illinois we always had a big pan or two of baked mac-n-cheese on the table, but my friends and family on the west coast did not. I mean, they do now because I’m the one who hosts and I definitely make it, but it’s got me wondering!

I’m from the southwest and I always have macaroni and cheese at my Thanksgiving. Before I did my own thing my dads family had it, my moms did not, and my in laws don’t either. My in laws also do potato salad instead of mashed potatoes and that year I died inside a little.
@jennatess, right? I’m cool with both but you can’t just skip the mashed potatoes 😭😂
@oddie, like right now I’m making mashed potatoes AND cheesy potato casserole . I’m not about to make enemies. Lol!
@jennatess, this is a very acceptable menu. In fact, as a rule I think potatoes are great in most forms 😂
Midwest, I never had Mac and cheese for thanksgiving. My husbands uncle makes smoked Mac and cheese every year and it is amazing!

Omg, there was one year my grandparents in-laws (I don’t know how to write that. Haha. 🤔). insisted on hosting thanksgiving. I have always hosted since I was 18, but I was newly pregnant and was like “okay, they can do it this year.”
THEY DIDNT MAKE MAC-N-CHZ or GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE.
I was livid.
I was hormonal and hungry, and this was Orange County so it was 90° on the holiday.
My entire friend group all make fun and joke about that day regularly to me because I was group texting them how all I wanted “to do was eat, but they didn’t have anything.” 😂😂😂

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
