Why is it that we have to wait 6 weeks to have sex after birth? Ive been wanting some these past two days, i feel so frustrated lol 2 & a half more weeks to go 😜

I'm also wanting hubby pretty badly it's been 3wks 3 days now and my bleeding is about finished I'm in the back and fourth stage of pink/cream color my postpartum appointment is December 4th I'll be 5wks pp I believe

Because the giant wound left by your placenta needs to heal, otherwise you risk an infection. I was cleared at 5 weeks for sex, though.

Anything before 6 weeks can risk an infection. Everything needs to heal.

You're lucky. I had 0 sex drive after the birth of my first. For a looooong time lol
