Could we legally break our lease if our landlord hasn’t fixed the problems we marked on our initial leasing checklist three months ago? Some of the maintenance includes a crack in between our front door and it frame, no weatherproofing, oven fan doesn’t work, there’s nails sticking straight up in our kitchen cabinets, all counters and bathtub are painted with regular wall paint (peeling up in bathtub too)
I think the laws are different in every state and I’m not sure about Arizona but I know in a lot of states you have the right to withhold rent until the things agreed on the lease are followed through with. I would look into that
We need to especially with the baby coming next month I can’t afford to have all these problems and maintenance coming in and out of our apt during flu season & risk her getting sick

I'm due December 4th, our lease is up at the beginning of January. We have a 3 bedroom but we keep having issues with the house. Right now we don't have the money to look for a new place. But I want 4 bedrooms. And I don't want to resort back to base housing. What to do 😞
