It depends where you life, some places you have to pay/ask. 
Here in Saskatchewan they do it on the 20 week or so appointment and it’s free.

@doubleksmommy,  I just got home and my tech today said that at my ob they don’t charge anything I just have to ask my tech and if the baby’s in a good position they’ll take it
