This is my daughter's first Thanksgiving. She's only 1 month old. My boyfriend's family is handsy and always wants to hold her. Now flu season is starting and my boyfriend and I don't want a couple of his family members holding her ( due to reasons, it's not just because the drinking, it's other reasons, it's complicated)...and they drink almost every get together/holiday but his family is Mexican (not racist just throwing it in there, I'm not sure if it's every Mexican family, just trying to get all the details in the situation, my family and his family are very different, and we both grew up differently)...but I'm not comfortable with them holding her if they are drinking..me for one don't drink, my boyfriend drinks on occasions but not every get together. I do not have a baby carrier, I also don't want to be rude and tell them they can't hold her etc...She's our first child and I'm obsessive of her being safe and making sure she's okay. I already told my boyfriend, I get nervous and worry everytime I hand her to anyone, not just his family...I don't like it when she's out of my eye sight, I don't like leaving her in a different room than me, I like it when she's in my arms and my view 24/7.. I may sound crazy (I know) but any advice?
