I actually have to have “surgery” on a regular basis on my right toe, because it gets so bad.

NO NO NO! My 12 yr old nephew has had to have surgery twice now because of it. You do not want it. He was awake the whole said it hurt like hell and stinks too. He was out of school for 2 weeks
