Braxton hicks are usually high on your belly, shift and drink a big glass of water and will probably go away. Real ones are usually low and nothing will stop them. Or that's what my doc said.
My Braxton hicks just feels like my stomach is being squeezed really hard, uncomfortable but not painful kinda makes me feel like im out of breath though.
You will deff know when your starting to get contractions they are very painful you'll get them every 5 mins or sooner together feels like really bad period cramps
