Everyone is different try not to over think it. Yes it is painful but its worth it once your holding that baby. I thinks it more just not knowing what to expect.
Ive just had my little boy and I’m going to be honest it was bloody painful. I was induced with a pessary and because I was contracting after 2 hours of having it inserted they had to remove it and that was the most painful thing I’ll ever experience. I used gas and air and was due for an epidural but was to late when the anaesthetist came round. Just listen to your body and don’t try to fight what u need to do. You don’t ‘forget’ the pain but once your little one comes into the world u are so overwhelmed u don’t think about the pain xx
My labor wasnt bad, but I think its harder because you dont know what to edpect.
My first was fast and it wasn’t horrible. I think I had a great labor for my first, it was only 5 hours from water breaking on its own to baby coming out. The worst was when I was getting my epidural but other than that it wasn’t so bad.
I recommend a birth class :) my first birth was not what i expected i ended up in a emergency csection
I had the best experience with my first! I didn’t know what contractions felt like or that I was In labor. Not knowing helped my nerves, and sanity😂
You'll hear a different story from everyone. Personally i don't think labor was bad. I was induced with my first and it lasted 3 hours. My second i was overdue and lasted 5 hours. I had them both naturally with no pain medication.
I was also on pitocin was in labor for 4 hours didn’t get the epidural and only pushed 3 times and she was out

I was always told I’d be in labor for 20 hours or more. Even the OB said to prepare for long labor. I was only in labor about 7 hours. It wasn’t that bad. Epidural sure helped! As you can see many ladies go on to do it many times lol can’t be THAT bad!
Yeah everyone is different my labor was about 7 1/2 hours but it flew by. Honestly it hurt a lot but afterwards was so worth it! Hearing your baby cry for the first time is an amazing feeling!
False. My 3rd was the most painful but I think this one will be even worse.
