I need to vent! My husband & I got into a little argument about feeding our daughter (9days old). He is such an amazing husband and father but this has really irked me. He said I am going to over feed her & upset her belly. I’m so confused! I’m not sure how much she is actually getting when she feeds from my breast. Therefore I pay attention to her hungry cues. Am I doing something wrong?

No you cant over feed her especially with breast milk its so much thinner then formula and she's only 9days old feed her when she seems hungry if she is clister feeding she's growing

You can’t over feed a breastfed baby. You can over feed a bottle feed baby. Right now, she’s building your supply, she comforting herself, she’s nourishing. They’re bellies are so small and they burn calories just breathing- she’s doing the right thing and so are you.

You're not doing anything wrong. If she's full she won't take it.

You cant overfeed a baby, especially a breast fed baby. If she is hungry feed her. Let your husband know that since she is breast fed, you cant over feed, plus babies do cluster feed.
