Tips on getting a sleepy newborn to nurse? The nurses are demanding he eats every 2 to 3 hours but sometimes he just WILL NOT wake up to nurse. Also my milk hasn't come in so sometimes he gets frustrated and just goes back to sleep lol.
Thank you I will try the tea. I have been undressing him, wiping him, changing diapers, talking to him, tickling him lol. But the moment I put him to breast he is asleep again. He's the sleepiest baby ever. I will keep trying though!
@boys.everywhere lazy eaters are really frustrating in the middle of the night. Cassie is like that, have to keep coaxing her to eat. My first was a heat seeking missle aimed for the nipple for 17.5 months 😂. My second is an effort. Since shes older now i just wait till shes really hungry cause then she actually eats. With your little id say try doing a gentle head scratch. I very very gently scratch cassies head at night to get her to pick up speed nursing, if i can get a good 5 minutes out of her I let her sleep and put her in the crib. Ive had to pump a few times so far and I know that by 5 minutes i pump around 3oz which is approx what her age group needs each sitting so i know if she nurses for 5 minutes shes good.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Try mothers milk tea and they always recommend changing a diaper or giving a light wipe bath to help baby wake up enough to nurse
