Okay mommas. What would you do if you saw other kids at your childs bus stop playing on the curb(?)/on the street while waitung for the bus? My son did it too and he got in trouble and I told the bus driver but it is just a temporary driver so he doesn't really speak to the school. Should I call the schools office and tell them? I am concerned for the kids saftey even though the cars were slow anything could happen. Especially since its very cold and icy.
@mommyof.3 hmmm... Maybe speak to the school authorities?
@mhbb3 I will be calling the principal in 15 minutes. She was in a meeting when I called an hour ago.
@mommyof.3 That's good. I think its great that SOMEONE cares enough to do something. You'd think with all the recent accidents the school would be more vigilant. I saw on the news today cops are on school zones like crazy now.
I'm guessing they were doing it while waiting for the bus, so even if there was a bus monitor, they probably would not have seen the kids doing it
I'd definitely call the school and let someone know what's going on. I'd rather the kids be safe and get talked to about the dangers of playing in the road/close to the road then to not say anything and take the chance that one of them get seriously hurt.
@dass72608 i didn't know they had ones that ride with the kids. Lol its so differnt over here
@bennysmom I also thought one that is on the bus. I haven't heard of one that waits with the kids. Thats pretty cool. We definitely need one of those.
@mommyof.3 i wish they did too. I guess they expect the parents to be there with the children
@bennysmom i haven't seen any other parents around. It's just me.
@mommyof.3 i use to walk my siblings to the bus stop but they had a bus monitor one for the morning one for the evening. I still stayed with them (because you know kids will be mischievous) and waited
School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
If schools open back up are you ladies sending any kids to school ??
Edit : if you have to work where are your kids going ? You and partner/husbands w.e
If your a stay at home mom
Please don’t comment I’m sorry lol
graduate
What year did you graduate high school?
My kids aren’t in school yet, but I have a question. I’ve been wondering why parents will drive their kids to the school bus stop instead of driving them to school. I’ve seen cars lined up at the end of my street just to wait on the bus. I don’t get it, so enlighten me.
say something to the kids
