Those mommies that have a baby and have pacifier’s do they cry for the pacifier even when it’s in his/her mouth? My daughter does it and it’s frustrating. I have been trying to put her to sleep for an hour now but she keeps waking up crying for the pacifier even when she still has it in her mouth. I don’t know what to do! Any suggestions?

@laniejay, @lunachar62, @mrs.jay__x,
She had just finished eating and getting burped so she couldn’t be hungry. 🤔Her pediatrician told me to use a pacifier because she was using my breast as one. She sucks on her pacifier really well but like when she falls asleep with it in her mouth while her mouth it’s a little opened she freaks out thinking that’s not there. 😬🤦🏻♀️

Your pedi have you bad advice for a breastfeeding mom. We are their pacifiers for a few months. That’s ok. She’s building and working on your supply.

There’s more to breastfeeding than nourishment. It’s comfort, it’s pain relief, it’s gas relief, it’s sleepy meds, it’s connection... bring her to breast. As she gets older, she’ll nurse less.

I let her stay on my breast at times and when I do she wants to stay there for hours and hours and I have another little one that needs me too, what can you suggest me to do?
