I am losing my childhood best friend. Having a child and altering my priorities have forced our differences to the forefront. I’ve never had many friends, I always feel like I’m an awkward person. But I really would like to get out there and meet some nice new people to talk to and hang out with, who have families and can relate to my new (and improved) life. I feel really nervous about making this post, I feel like it’s going to come off desperate and weird but if I don’t try I’ll never know who’s out there.
Not at all. This app is my only social life. Sounds kinda sad but it works for me. I can talk to other mothers, relate, seek advice but not have drama. Other than my kids and SO, I keep to myself.
I lost all my friends when I had my son. And thankfully to finding a new job I found a couple new friends. It gets easier with time. Just need to surround yourself with others who know your child comes first.
Your not weird or awkward. That's what most of us are on the app for. If you ever need to talk I'm here.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Not weird at all. Becoming a parent changes things and sometimes it’s hard to relate to people who aren’t yet in that phase of life.
